I had a combination of tummy tuck and liposuction in Lithuania, clinic NordEsthetics. The scar was placed far down, so it will not appear over the bikini-edge. Got a great follow-up both before and after surgery. I am very positive about how quickly I got answers. Some days my questions were answered just 10 minutes after the mail was sent. Would recommend this to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Gynecomastia Surgery Abroad

The average gynecomastia price in our clinic is £ 1.350 (€ 1.800).

Gynecomastia is diagnosed when a man experiences the growth of unnaturally large breasts due to the overgrowth of breast tissue. In some rare cases men may also generate milk (as the breasts are, in fact, mammary glands).

If breast development is not caused by a genetic disease (i.e., Klinefelter's syndrome), then it is generally provoked by hormone imbalances. Gynecomastia normally induces pubescent boys or older men. When the quantity of estrogen in a man’s organism is too high or if he is estrogen-sensitive it can lead to the breast overdevelopment. Other causes of this disease are unreasonable alcohol consumption and steroid intake. Older men, whose androgen generation is reduced, can also face gynecomastia particularly if they are getting the treatment for prostate cancer. Gynecomastia can also appear in men who are overweight or obese. The extra fat can provoke breast overgrowth.

  • Areola or nipple inversion
  • Areola or nipple necrosis
  • Breast asymmetry
  • Sensory changes
  • Infection
  • Contour deformity
  • Painful scar
  • Skin redundancy
  • Conspicuous scar
  • Hyperinflamatory pigmentation
  • Seroma

  • Surgical resection (subcutaneous mastectomy). The intra-areola incision (Webster incision) is commonly the most suitable. The Webster incision prolongs along the edge of the areola in the pigmented area. The longitude of the incision differs depending on the specific anatomy of the patient
  • Minimally invasive gynecomastia surgery. A very tiny (approximately 5 mm) incision is done along the circumference of the areola. The principal benefit is the smaller incision.
  • Liposuction-assisted mastectomy. Lately the arrival of ultrasonic liposuction has increased the quantity of better results of the treatment. In liposuction-assisted mastectomy, less compromise of the blood generation, nipple deformation, saucer distortion and areola scab appear. In addition, the postoperative complications are less common after using this method than after an open subcutaneous mastectomy. However, liposuction-assisted mastectomy is not appropriate for treating glandular gynecomastia.
