I had a combination of tummy tuck and liposuction in Lithuania, clinic NordEsthetics. The scar was placed far down, so it will not appear over the bikini-edge. Got a great follow-up both before and after surgery. I am very positive about how quickly I got answers. Some days my questions were answered just 10 minutes after the mail was sent. Would recommend this to anyone considering plastic surgery.

Took a full tummy tuck, liposuction of the hips and abs splicing. I am very pleased with the result! The nurses and doctor are all very professional. The nurses speak ok English. Doctors and the anesthesiologist speak perfect English. Communication will not be a problem as everyone is very careful to ensure that you understand what you are going through.

Arm Lift

Arm Lift Surgery Abroad

The average arm lift price in our clinic is £ 1.370 (€ 1.825).

An arm lift, also recognized as brachioplasty, reduces extra skin and fat between the armpit and the elbow, reforms your arm leading to a smoother skin and a more toned and proportionate look.

Arm lift is one of the most common plastic surgeries done after huge weight loss because the tender tissue of the arm becomes elusive and sags resembling bat wings. Thin people may also have sagging upper arms caused by age and heredity.

Preparation for the surgery

  • Cut down on both alcohol consumption and cigarette intake for at least 2 weeks before the procedure
  • Undergo blood test before the surgery
  • Do not use any blood thinning medication that could potentially cause surgical complications

Recovery after arm lift

  • Sometimes doctors prefer to wrap the arms or use pressure robes
  • Most doctors recommend to keep arms lifted for a few days above the trunk
  • Slow return of normal function of the arms and hands over a couple of weeks
  • You should avoid Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications for the first few days after your arm lift operation
  • Smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke may impair the healing process and should be avoided

  • Diminution of an extra skin in upper arm
  • Better self confidence
  • Tighter skin

  • Bleeding
  • Infection
  • Scars
  • Edema of the arms
  • Seroma formation. Seromas are fluid storages that can appear after operation along the incision line)

  • To carry out an arm lift your doctor will do incisions on the inside or back of your arm. The incision models differ depending on the volume of the operation and your doctor's preferred method. Incisions normally go from the armpit to right above the elbow.
  • Some patients may only require minor incisions where the inner, upper arm joins the armpit. This is recognized as a minimal incision arm lift. You may be an applicant for a minimal incision arm lift if you have a minor amount of supplementary skin settled near the armpit.
  • Others, including patients who have lost huge amounts of weight following bariatric surgery, may have more extra skin and need an incision that runs from the elbow to the arm pit and onto the side of the trunk.
  • After the incision is performed extra fat may be eliminated with arm liposuction. Extra skin is then eliminated, tensed and sutured in place with absorbable sutures or stitches that will be taken away within one or two weeks after the procedure. At this step your skin will be gentle over the new form of your arm.
